Directions
Starting on the western side of Mullaghamesha, at Coomanore point near the Lough , this walk takes you westward to Lough Bofinne. It then continues along a quiet country road to meet the Bantry-Drimoleague section of the Sheep’s Head Way at Trawlebane Bridge. An invigorating walk with spectacular views along a bog road, valley and ridge.
Marked as an “escape route” this linear walk serves as a link from the St. Finbarr’s Way trail between Drimoleague and Kealkill and the Sheep’s Head Way eastern section trail between Bantry and Drimoleague. Follow the red arrows.
