Directions
Follow the red arrows northeast (towards Ahakista) on the public road for a short distance, before turning right at WM 404, entering farmland. Continue downhill to Farranamanagh Strand and lake – passing these and continuing uphill past the Bardic School and down to Dromnea car park. From here you can return to Kilcrohane along the public road, or continue crossing the road & climbing the stile to the left of the gate. Continue up and across the open hill and turn left where indicated for Kilcrohane. Exit through a farmyard onto a quiet country road, passing a standing stone and burial ground, down to the public road, where the trail turns right back on the main road to Kilcrohane.
